From a Dream to Reality: Welcome to Green Meadows Art Studio

Hi, I’m Sally-Ann, the artist behind Green Meadows Art Studio - tucked away on our family farm in rural Gordonton. I make prints and hand-built ceramics inspired by nature, the garden, and everyday life. Everything’s made slowly, by hand, with heart.

Opening an art studio here had been a dream of mine for a long time. In 2020, during lockdown, my husband and son helped turn that dream into reality by converting our garage into the creative space it is today. I officially opened the doors in 2022 as part of the Gordonton Design & Art Trail, and it’s been a joy to share it with others ever since.

I’ve been a printmaker since 2008, mainly working in Intaglio Etching, and more recently I’ve fallen in love with hand-built ceramics, especially small garden-inspired pieces.

You’re welcome to get in touch if you’d like to visit the studio - whether you're coming solo or with a group, I’d love to show you around.

Oh, and we’ve recently adopted Harold, a very fluffy and friendly Highland cow. Visitors are always welcome to give him a pat - he loves the attention (and food)!

2 minutes from Gordonton Village.

We’re just 2 minutes from Gordonton Village and less than a minute from Woodlands Estate. The studio is open by appointment, but I do hold open days now and then. For updates and event info, follow along on Facebook at Mother’s Lover’s Birdhouses.
