Whether you're a total beginner or just keen to get your hands back into clay again, our pottery workshops are designed to be relaxed, creative, and welcoming. You’ll be guided through simple techniques to create your own unique pieces in a small and friendly setting with plenty of one-on-one support and no pressure — just time to slow down and enjoy making something by hand.
For those wanting to turn the experience into a weekend away, our Pottery Retreat package combines a hands-on pottery workshop with a cosy countryside stay near Hamilton, making it perfect for girls’ weekends, birthdays, creative retreats, or a relaxing escape with friends. If you're looking for a paint-and-sip-style experience or unique things to do near Hamilton, this is a great place to start.

You’ll get to create small hand-built items- think pinch pots, mini sculptures, or garden decorations - and I’ll fire your work in the studio kiln, ready to collect later.
Two Week Pottery Class
Two Week Course - 3 Hours per week
Create small hand-built pieces - think pinch pots, mini sculptures, or garden decorations.
Pottery Workshop
10am - 4pm
Spend the day learning, creating, and experimenting with clay in a relaxed and welcoming environment, with the option to make multiple small pieces or focus on one larger piece - the choice is yours!
Includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
Pottery Weekend Retreat
Weekend | Friday/Saturday-Sunday
Arrive Friday afternoon for a peaceful countryside stay before your Saturday pottery workshop, or join Saturday morning and spend the weekend creating with clay, relaxing with friends, and enjoying a creative escape.
Studio Capacity & Group Sizes
Please note that our pottery classes, workshops, and retreat packages require a minimum booking of three people. The studio can accommodate a maximum of six guests per session. In some cases, larger groups may be possible, so please get in touch to discuss options.
